Sharnon Isenia has written an article for the Canon of Curaçao about the history of transport on the island.
The General Faculty (AF) of the University of Curaçao (UoC) has taken the initiative to draw up a “Canon of the History of Curaçao”. The AF is convinced that citizens must have a good idea of the history of their country so that they can participate responsibly in political and social life. That is why the AF has decided to contribute to this by drawing up a list of subjects from the history of Curaçao that all citizens should be aware of. They have collaborated with a large group of social organizations and local experts.
